    Scootercabs

Got a flyer for this the other day
Where they come to your car on a foldaway moped, put it in your boot and drive your car with you in it home. Could be quite useful if you can't get a taxi into town - just drive in and arrange to get picked up later.
    Anyone ever used one?

Why should they be banged up if they haven't drunk drive?

Might get one one day from outside one of the trendy bars. I'll look well cool when this little moped turns up and gets put in my boot!

The drivers would be insured to drive any car. It couldnt work otherwise.

IMO they wouldnt do off with peoples cars. The person who owns the car is gonna be there anyway so its not too likely theyre gonna try and steal the car right in front of the owner

Its not done in Consett though. It would be a waste of time. Not many people can afford the luxury of owning a car :p

Thats what they advertise it on. But if you're at home and want to get a taxi to a pub and back it might just be easier to drive there and get these back
