We return to the hallowed ground of The Tyne Public House where we made our Rimini debut with a truly unforgetable performance from Heartbreak. That was way back in early May when the long johns were still needed! This time we'll be extending the dance into the early hours over at Stereo once we've wrapped up the outdoor maneouvres at the Tyne. To end the summer in style we will be welcoming the unified forces of Mancunian/Cestrian stalwarts Human Shield. They'll be presenting a live performance from Tommy Walker 3 and the disc jockey spectacular that is, Rimini regular, Peter Mangalore. Human Shield is more than just a record label and purveyor of audio delights. Part community outreach programme; artistic enterprise, North West heritage initiative, Human Shield is run by Messrs Mangalore, Walker and our favourite dog lover Ali Renault. Excellent vinyl releases by the likes of Manasyt, Legowelt, Ali Renault & Multiplex have proven Human Shield's worth with much more to come over the next year. As a recording artist Tommy Walker 3 cut his teeth with a number of releases on the Brighton based label Cyber Dance, Dissident records and the excellent Bat Rider EP on the Rotten Row label as well as remixing for the likes of Ladytron. He'll be setting the pace as the sun sets for his first performance in the North East. http://humanshieldsoundcystern.blogspot.com/ Newcastle will be represented by a live performance from Rimini brother Fiero Fuxx - he'll be warming up his 808 & SH 101 and taking the bass up a notch.
