I'm not interly sure if i like this or not.

The first time was 10x with Dan and I didn't know wtf had hit me and didn't really have a grip on reality and felt as if the coffee table next to me was really really really long.. yet the room was still normal size. Slightly paranoid too because i wasn't sure if I'd been sitting there for ages looking stupid.

Second time was with the 20x I bought last week with 2 of my m8's and again I didn't know wtf was going on... I felt like my knees were part of the carpet and that the rest of me had become the chair and I wasn't intirely sure if i'd look stupid if I tried to get up because I'd suddely thought I could stop being the chair after all this time (it alters perception of time and also made me question truth and reality). I felt really paranoid that the other 2 who'd also had salvia weren't feeling the effects and were simply looking at me in disgust as if I was making a twat out of myself. The same kind of feeling you get when you realise people have just found out you've done something wrong and you know they don't approve of it. I then managed to get up without too much fuss and went to the bathroom to wash my face and somehow try to get a grip on reality and realise what was actually happening but instead I found myself moving towards the toilet as if there was a gravitational force making me go in that direction and my legs started rubbing up and down against the front of it yet I had no control over them and wondered wwhat the fuck i was doing. After that i sat back down and the effects wore off after a few more minutes.

The 3rd time, and you're probably thinking I'm stupid for having it a 3rd time yet you're probably right but it's weird.. you know how you feel at the time but once the effects have die'd off, so do your opinions of the whole situation that has just occured and instead of me thinkin 'whoah that sucked balls i don't want to feel like that again' you think (or at least i did) 'hmm I just need to chill out and remember that people are only looking at me because I've just had salvia'. This doesn't work. I was on my own this time when I had it to try and counter the paranoia but instead I found myself sitting on my bed thinking there were people asking me to do something. I knew I was on my own yet i didn't because I wanted to say 'ok ok' in response to whatever 'people' wanted me to do, over and over yet my brain told me 'no don't say thet you're on your own stupid'. The effects of this trip lasted at least 10 minutes which is longer than any of my m8's by about 5 times and longer than i tripped the last time. The music didn't play a part in the trip, the surroundings looked the same and i just sat there with two minds battling it out over whether or not people wanted me to do something or not. My face also went really tingley and my hands started to sweat quite a lot. Very very weird and two words to sum up 20x salvia is: TOTAL CONFUSION

I don't think i'll be having this anymore unless i try the 5x and work my way up in stages that don't have me freaking out

Anyone else tried this? (You're supposed to go from the lowest strength and build up a tolerance instead of jumping into the deep end with the likes of 20x so I guess ignorance isn't bliss)

It's worth a go just for the experience. I don't know if other people get the same paranoia effects. Maybe it's just because I had 20x and not 5x.

I've seen a few videos and one guy had it and just started laughing his tits off none stop and started shouting on about riding the rodeo and being on the octopus ride.

I think i just have a problem dealing with the fact that i feel so confused and instead of laughing about it i try to work it out.. something that will never be done believe me

hmm i was next in line to hav it after graham at a tidy wkender and after wot it didi to him he said to me and andrea dont u dare u 2 hav it, he was really freaked out for good 4 hrs or somethin after wot had happened,

a few other lads it, one went off crying, another couldnt decide wot was reality for hrs and was paranoid as fuck

I tried the 10X stuff in my room with some mates once, I got a good affect from it, my room seemed expansive. It was a massive ongoing space. I started laughing and making my mates stay silent while i looked around my huge room.

It faded.. and i felt fine. no paranoia

The key to smoking it is to get it VERY hot. Normal lighters are crap. The best bet is a blowtorch or at least a jetflame lighter and a nice big pipe.

It doesnt work well in joints as it doesnt burn hot enough.

A normal lighter works fine when u have 20x I'm assuming the directions for using a good lighter are just so you can maximize the effects from every bowl and not waste any since the boiling(?) point is higher than that of canabis etc..

I think i'll try the 5x because i want to be laughing not freaking out as much as I have the last couple of times. I think the fact that i keep the freaking out contained as much as possible instead of running around the room in fits of madness might be why I haven't got used to it yet.

It depends what you had exactly. There are leaves, standardized and non-standardized exctracts and leaves with the extract on them (I think!). The extracts come in different strengths from 5x up to about 40x.

It depends how you smoke it too. Buckets work well, as do bongs. I made a pipe out of two bottles and that worked fine too. You're supposed to inhale and hold it in for 20 seconds or so.. then have whatever is left of the batch if there is any then you are guarentee'd to be bollocked. If not.. get a higher strength!
