Does anyone know why 3 policemen came into promise on firday?

Ive being going clubbing for over 2years and ive never ever seen this happen before they came while dave seaman was playing.

I have been in loads of clubs where the police have come in for a wander around. Fairly standard procedure for them to have a look in every once in a while as far as I know.

Iv seen Cops in Promise about 5 times now. Once they came in shining torchs on the floor.

Must have caught a dealer or something.

Doesn't happen that often, but it does happen. Just random checks etc. nowt to get worried about. If the Police were going to be there for a reason, you'd know by the fact that they wouldn't be casually strolling around, or in uniform (but then I suppose you wouldn't know)

Nahhh one of their mates dropped his icepop n they needed to find it before it melted...

Clothed police in clubs are soooo blatant.... more so than the ones in uniform Its always fun poking fun at the police in the sundissential toilets

Must be something to do with Dave Seaman...wasn't it him who was playing when Crasher got raided last May?!?! Coincidence eh? Just glad Promise wasn't being raided!!!!!!!!!

i was sitting down and they came, shined a torch in my face, shined it into my lap (presumabley to see if i had a stiffy) then at my feet. then they proceed to give me the thumbs up before asking if i was "alright mate" yes i was but would have been more so if there wasn't such a whiff of bacon in the air.......

Pigs are always knockin bout somewhere arent they - ive seen them in clubs with there sniffer dogs before - is nee good really but then again there doin there job and while there at it most likely gettin some fine trance or proggy music I remem when i was 16 used to shit when seen the police in bars in Newcastle - away went the fake ID and out stuck the chest to make me look that little bit bigger - failin that used to join the que waitin to hide in the toilet - Wonder why

At the first Trance classics this year (I think), I remember getting booted out of the always room, by some big fat tit in a uniform. They had some lad sitting in the middle of the room while they searched it, twas well dodgy. Like a scene from Starsky and Hutch, all that good cop bad cop shit.

I hope they had to pay their £13 to get in just like the rest of us!
