Phone Repair Shops? Anyone know any cheap places in Newcastle that would fix the LCD on my K750i. One shop told me it would cost £60! As he said the LCD'S were expensive. But I was thinking of buying a screen off ebay for £30, how much do people normally charge just for the service?? Any help appriciated!
maybe about 30, he did say that the screens where expensive not the screen will be 60 and the repair will be free.

You will probably be able to buy a tool set of ebay for a fiver which makes cracking your phone open easy. Once in it should be a p.o.p to do as it will be a ribbon type connector that you just clip on. Failing that, i know a phone place in Wilkos in North Shields, dont know how much it will cost but its worth a try. Im also sure there are some of those type of shops/stalls in the metro centre.
