Following on from our huge re-opening party with Will Saul and Co. - we return to the Ballroom for a MadTech Records label showcase, and what a line up we have in tow. After making his Ape-x debut last year, one of our favourite guests Citizen returns. After a HUGE summer, its only right to show you what he's all about!

Warming things up in the main room, is fast on the rise duo AZ & Tor. After meeting on the Bristol underground music circuit 2 years ago, they have refined themselves into a seriously intriguing and refreshing outlook on the deep house scene. Tor brings his Detroit heritage into play with deep grooving baselines whilst AZ lays down sweet soul-filled vocals & MCing skills.

Next, is Irish born Krystal Klear who brings his one of a kind DJ set to Cosmic for the very first time. After huge sets at both LOOP and MSA, we are bringing him back to the Toon to get the main room going for Citizen. Expect the unexpected from this guy. Be it soul, acid house or techno, nothing is off limits.

On headlining duties in the Ape-Cave, we have Trikk with support coming from the 'Box Newcastle' lads.
Hailing from Portugal, Trikk is George Fitzgerald's latest big thing, and was recently signed to his label ManMakeMusic. Churning out great remixes for the likes of Rachel Row and Marc Romboy. You only need to check out his recent Boiler Room to see what you're in store for...

Citizen, just like his label boss Kerri Chandler - really puts the soul back into house music. Once you listen to 'So Submissive', it shows his ability in creating great dance music with real emotion. While there are prominent tones of the 90's coming through in his productions, he is by no means a one trick pony, creating uniquely retro sounding tracks. His remixes for Waze & Odyssey and Breach show his immense ability to chop and screw up samples. Citizen has been heavily involved in this summer's festival season and we can't wait for him to headline our intimate home... Cosmic Ballroom!
