Following hot on the heels of the 10th birthday celebrations, DETOX return once again with their trademark melting - pot > fusion of old skool, tech, techno, psy, trance, & hard dance on Saturday 15th October; delivering one of the most eclectic line-ups to date. Spread across 3 rooms, incorporating 2 levels & featuring 30 acts over a marathon 8 hours this is one event most definitely not for the faint-hearted.

This time we bring you a couple of Detox debuts and a welcome return for a couple of our favourite acts appearing for the first time in nearly 4 years. Add into the toxic mix the long awaited Rez-urrection of one of the North East’s much loved “underground” radio shows, headlined by two of the biggest acts the old skool scene has created, (reunited on a Newcastle line-up for the first time in 10 years!!!) and you have one epic DETOX event in the making. The line-up goes a little something like this…....

ROOM 1: Tech, Trance, Techno, Psy & Hard Dance

    SEAN TYAS
    ACTIVA
    ANNE SAVAGE
    K90 “LIVE”

Local dj support comes from the following four who let their hands do the talking without the need for any Tolkien-esque introductions...

STATIC(DETOX, Freaky Dancing, Cause and Effect)
    SAM COOK(Cybernetix, Radar)
KRM vs. ALEX FOX(Absolution’s head honcho vs the hard dance don)

    (Plus more to be confirmed)

ROOM 2: Old Skool Disco Techno Jukebox
    featuring the “Crimewatch” REZ~urrected

    N-JOI “LIVE
< Mark Archer >(ex)ALTERN8 (DJ Set)
For the first time since Rezerection back in 1991 we welcome Altern8s' Mark Archer for his Detox Debut playing an old skool dj set alongside N-JOI; lets just say "Nice One....Top One lets get sorted"

Smokey Joe (Crime Watch, Nocturnal, Holocaust)

    SLP(Blackout, Rezerection, Hard Times)

Additional local dj support comes in the guise of the following local heroes...

    DJ UEP (GGM, CNE, Backlash)

Earl Grey vs. James 909 (Citric Acid, Backlash)

    Michael Harding (Bedroom Bedlam)

Room 3 – The Alchemists Cauldron @ the Saw room

Bearpark (Cocunuts ~ they are bears eggs)

    Ben Mahon (D’Amour)

    The Beast (Peaking FM)

    Raoul & Yeti (CNE)

    James Wilson (Climax)

    Wideye (Distorted)
    Anthizm vs. Hostile Squad (Insomniacz)

    Armage:DON (Backlash, Milk the Cow)

theres a few more additions to go on the lineup but people kept asking for the info and a few web leaks were appearing here and there so I thought its about time it went up. Will add some pics and more biog info later for the "trainspotters" amongst you :)

Yes, yes we do, after i learned from the last one, always book 2 nights worth of babysitting and stay in a hotel to avoid 'Sunday of SHAME!'

Its a shame this isn't 2 weeks later for a halloween one again, the one at the Uni was quality and I can imagine Melt getting carried away decorating room 3 the Saw room.
Gonna have to get up early tomorrow to try and get me tickets.

Sean Tyas - that's a cracking booking there Melt. Definately raised my eyebrows as much as when you had Askew and JOOF on.

    Well in.
