    oh my god am sure i am starting to get this, every night i have to check my doors are locked about 4 times before going to bed and all plugs are pulled out incase they set on fire ,

    then when i leave for work i worry incase i have left a window open or something :spangled:

    but yeah that sounds like incredibly mild ocd, nothing to worry about though.

    if you start thinking about not holding handles on public transport as 'they' can get your fingerprints from them

    and not brushing your hair in public/anywhere but home coz 'they' can get your DNA, then you need to be worrying.

    until then, checking windows and plugs and stuff is fine :cyber:

    Aye, everyone does it and drugs don't help because they make you paranoid and fuck with your memory.

    I always go back and check my car seconds after I've just locked it cos I think I have forgotten to do it.

    Everyone has some part in their personality which involves Obsessive Compulsive traits but this is not the Disorder, that is a full clinical thing where there is a ten point check list of criteria which have to have been going on for at least 6 months and prove detrimental to living a normal life. Basically don't panic.

    In comparison to some people, but it shows signs of quite an anxiety disorder.

    OCD is well weird, my dad has it and he's so irrational, it's both amusing and pitifull to watch. :lol:

    Some people have said the 'mental checklist' is OCD?

    Whenever i leave the house i always do 'house keys, car keys, wallet, ipod, phone' thing and tap my pockets if im not 100% sure i have something. I wont do it if i know i have something... OCD?

    I guess OCD people just think they are 'making sense' in what they do tho - so thats their delusion i imagine?



    The house i just left had a girl in it who would wait till everyone went to bed and then went downstairs to spray anti bacterial spray on the worktops, and have a kitchen tidy up. Even if it was 1 in the morning or something. Nutbar.
