Brid would love to reply but atm he is celebrating the job losses. The Champers is poping at Brid Central: "2000 down, only 4000+ to go, yee yaa yee yoo", "NICE ONE SANDLER, LETS HAVE ANOTHER 4000".

Thursdays Chron could be hard to get hold of.

Did your analysis influence the chief exec?

I would have thought a big grown up boy like you would be able to have an intelligent debate about something like this....

.... But looks like you have more fun putting words and opinions in my mouth, hoping that someone will join in and react on an 'anti geordie' like me. Do you think people on here dumb enough to fall for that ..... hoping they will?

For what its worth, im absolutely gutted about the job losses - but im not going to back down on my opinion that the business got ITSELF into the trouble it did, and in its quest for unsustainable growth..... and ultimately ... FUCKED everyone.

And as much as each and every family involved will be massively affected by this,i dont think as a nation we should waste 25billion+ to keep 6000 people in a job.

If a debate on a clubbing message board could equal change I would do it but it doesn't so it is pointless really. At best all I could aim to do is influnce board members like Asian-Preteen-Sluts viewpoint.

It might be a clubbers messageboard, and not a 'serious' current affairs one, but there are some very intelligent people on here - hence trying to make it sound like im actually HAPPY that people are losing their jobs is well low.

Yes, it was a bit offside & a caricature on your thoughts. I am sure the the very intelligent people you mention will see that.

    The Recession is looming

Boom and Bust policys return under another labour goverment.

To think i voted for a party that sent us to 2 unwinable wars and actual seems to have based its ideology on the Book 1984.
