I'm one of them, Armin doesn't appeal to me at all, worst set I have heard this year was him at global

I put myself through it for about 45mins, he was terrible!!

starting a thread with that kind of bold statement is just asking for trouble.

I used to here sets a million times better than that (by people that get paid nowhere near as much as him) every Friday in Foundation mate.

And if we're including all genre's, then recently that would be near the bottom of the pile.

Sounds a bit like his set at Digital. One last chance for him to see if he could finally impress me and he served up a big pile of shite total failure.

All about opinions.... personally i think hes fucking class. His set at Armada's closing party this year was special.

He doesnt appeal to some folk, but im one of the ones he does appeal to.

I've seen him loads of times and he's only impressed me 3 of them and they were all about 5years ago! Even when i liked trance he always seemed to be missing the edge people like PVD had.

Aye thats exactly how i feel, the onyl time i've enjoyed him was Global in 2004.

The daft thing is, i've got sets ive downloaded i've enjoyed but when it comes to being in a club and listening to him he just never impresses. That Global set was probably the only time i ehard him get about 140bpm.

I downlaoded an old set of his the other day and it was a class tracklist but it just sounded shit as it was soo slow about 136 plodding along when if he'd pitched it up it would have sounded class.

Armada was one of the best nights at IBZ this year for me, armin was class, to be honest despite the bad press i liked him at digital, and i fucking loved him at trees... BUT never been to an Armin only night, and i reckon he could get boring after 2 & half hours, i'll not knock it till i've tried it however
