Ive found the file.

Its listcache.dat - thats where me contacts list is stored....now the tricky part - how to decrypt it!!

Try just opening it in notepad, may just work

What about... backing up the current listcache.dat and replacing it with your old one? Tiny chance that may work.

Btw - how come you're signing on msn with a yahoo account? Am I out of touch with the kidz or summinck?

if you have anyone on ur new contact list u can save the list. then open the new list with notepad and take note of how the file is. after that, take ur old contacts and add to the list. then import the newly saved list back in to msn.

thats my try on it, not sure if it will work, but u could give it a go
