    New graphics card.... problems

If i am using DDR memory in my motherboard but have DDR2 memory in my new graphics card will it cause problems?

Got a new graphics card and its not working 100% really pissing me off.

Keep crashing in windows when i play videos or load MSN. Work fine on a big game tho!!

Everest also says i have AGP disabled (thats the type of card i have) When in the BIOS its enabled :s

The memory on both runs independantly.. unless its an onboard card.. which yours is not.

Try reinstalling the drivers.. get the latest one from the MANUFACTURERS website.

Make sure you have Direct x 9c installed too.. get the redistribution from Microsofts site.

Ignore Everest.. I never use it.. as the BIOS is the most reliable diagnostic application on your machine..

    imo.

Cheers tried that over the past 2 days!

Had the ULI AGP drivers out the Nvidia drivers out all back in still same problem!

Tryin to get advice from the card manufacturer and motherboard manufacturer too. Ill keep on tryin!
Works fine when i reduce the hardware acceleration but i think the game wont work then!

    yup! lol

Ive got 2 lots of 1Gig PC3200 memory

    AMD athlon X2 4400+

can they be easily transfered to a new board?

Gonna send the card back so could go to PCI-E if i got a new board.

How much is a half decent one with case?

Got a 400w power supply too.
