My rabbit is ill Anyone have any experience looking after rabbits? Every now and again she gets like this. She shakes slightly and breathes really fast.. a bit like she's off her tits :s She keeps getting up and lying in a different position and then moves to another room to do the same. It generally lasts all day and then she's fine but we dunno what could cause it or what it is. The vets didnt really have much to tell us about it when we took her there the last time.
Your rabbit has a mild form of schizophrenia, This started happening with my rabbit and then it tried to eat itself...The poor thing had to be put down
What, it used to happen one day a year or so? If I had to take a wils guess I'd have said she ate something amongst all the wrapping paper on christmas day. She likes to eat anything she can RE: Other posts Pure comedy genius. I didn't see the pie joke coming mind. Shocker!
Think that might be similiar to what happened to my rabbit when it had some kind of (none cancerous) tumour on its intestine or something like that.
you never know! tbh our vet doesnt seem to know much about rabbits and we've recieved much better help from breeders/fanatic keepers in the past.
On the subject of sick animals, my cat is ill. He's sneezing and his eyes are watering and he's acting all pathetic. Am taking him to a vet's tomorrow, but am worried incase he dies in the night. Has anybody got a cat that's had these symptons before? What does it mean?
I've never owned a cat but if they are anything like humans i'd say it seems like a cold. Obviously you've probably already assumed that though so yeah.. ignore me!
Yeah I was thinking cat flu (if that exists). I'm probably just over concerned, he just looks so pathetic with his eyes watering as if he's crying.
