MH was ROCKING when pvd cancelled - should get him to play longer sets (ie 3-4 hrs) more often - the man is a total god
I'm sorry but i can't sit here and let you lot talk bollocks about when PvD cancelled. Were any of you there?! By the sounds of it.....NO!! I was well disapointed in Promise that night. It was like a fucking pop concert or something. They must have played rapture about 4 times during the course of the night. And then when someone came on the mic in the middle of the night i was well gutted. It's hardly the sign of a classy club when somone comes on the mic in the middle of the night shoutin in a deep voice 'after dark' style. come on guys!! This just isn't what you lot are about!! You did the same for mauro picotto too!! It's too much like ikon!! Lets face it, at this present moment you are playing music that doesn't require any thinkin, it's just break down shit that is far from intelligent. It really gets me about promise about how you can book quality DJ's like sasha, sander, anthony pappa, lee buridge etc who play intelligent dance music and that actually does require some thinking and then go and book people like Judge Jules (who i believe is playing 'an exclusive 3hr set' nxt year (!!) ) and people like mauro picotto!! Why, oh tell me why....... Don;t get me wrong, i'm not slating this kind of music (much), i'm just calling for a bit of consistancy. Know what i mean?
im not having a dig, but blah blah blah blah (jus wanted to say the ) they have stopped announcing DJs which is good but on one of ur points... i do think i know an ickle bit bout music, but when i go out on a fri 2 promise i dont want to think about the music i want it 2make me smile and make me leave feeling good thats my 2pence
