Mac help .... Right, I have a wireless router > Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router 2.4ghz, 802.11b : Model 'BEFW11S4' And It uses an antenna like accessory - , as used on the back of that image. but there's no port on the back of the mac that will fit it... Is there anything I can do to get it to work? Or will I have to get the airport express accessory from Apple?
You can get these USB wireless adapters from Dixons in the metro for £20. They have mac support & drivers here: http://web.belkin.com/support/download/download.asp?download=F5D6050&lang=1&mode= failing that, you got an ethernet port on your mini mac and on your router
Right i've just went to install the adaptor, and when i run it it doesn't do anything what so ever, every box is inactive or unavailable
I did. The config box just stayed inactive. Right; I have a; Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router 2.4ghz, 802.11b : Model 'BEFW11S4' Belkin Bluetooth USB Adaptor Drivers, anything else? Should I have a non-bluetooth USB adaptor?
Nail on head. The one above is a "802.11b Wireless USB Network Adapter", you need a 802.11b/g adaptor. Bluetooth won't work with the router you have.
still no fucking luck just bought the airport accessory, which does the job ... or it fucking better do
