    Logic 8.0

Alright kids, i was wanting to export the track im working on at the moment for peoples feedback on here, though its the first track ive worked on solely and cant seem to get it to export in a format that i can play?

Ive tried exporting it in WAV format though it doesnt then play once its exported, anyone who is familiar with the software any ideas before i start battling with the million page manual? Im sure its something simple like though cant seem to get it to export properly. :dunce:

    Cheers in advance :)

im not familiar with 8, but if its anything like 7, then try bouncing offline. make a loop round the full track, try doing it in an mp3 aswell as a wav/aiff. Also make usre you dont have the channels muted.

Ive now got it on WAV format and mp3 format though cant find how to upload to Myspace  Does it need to be a music myspace for you to be able to upload a track to your profile? Or am i being stupid again? :dunce:

had to go for a quick lay down after that ;)

maybe add a bit more variety in the percussion as its quite static, it bounces along well nice at the start but the bass makes it kind of loose the bounciness . Think it also needs a bit more variety in there, its quite loopy at the moment...effect or add to the sounds so the track keeps changing all the time to keep interest.

needs a bit of fairy dust so the different sections of the track flow into each other a bit more, just little fills here and there is often enough.

hard to tell on the actual production as its low quality but not 100% sure the bass is sitting properly

apart from that its a lot better than some of the stuff ive been sent recently by "proper" producers :groovy:

dunno why because it sounds nothing like it but it reminded me of this for some reason...take note of the bouncey drums ;)

    keep at it

Some good detailed feedback there mate, cheers :cool2:

I totally agree with the points youve raised, definitely needs more varying sounds adding to maintain interest. Was probs in a bit of a hurry to get it up though being my first solo effort  lol.

Dont worry.... ill be playing much deeper when warming up on saturday ;)

HaHaHa, got the link btw, canny track Graham!
All id say is that it needs filled out a bit (imo of course) id personally add some tribal percussion. The sub bass you used sound wkd mate all id personally do is give it a key change maybe 8/16 bars in, you'll be surprised how the smallest of things MASSIVELY change the feel of a track. The chirps/robotic noise you've used are dead on, they work really well.
The filter at the end of the track is nice although ends too sharply along with the sub bass try smoothing out the tail of it, making it a gradual end not a sudden halt to it all. Shit hot effort man!!

I'll stick a clip up of mine that im working on now:)

Cheers Proud, yeah the end of the track was pretty rushed if im honest. Was a case of being nearly finished and rushing it to get it complete so i had the track all done, though im probs going to have another look at it over the weekend as theres a few things i want to look at changing, the end being one of them as well as adding extra percussion in parts.

Liking the sound of yours mate just replied over FB, its definitely another winner to follow Outside by the sound of it :)
