What board did this thread come from mate (i'm guessing passion??)

Saw Haslam play at Creamfields last year and enjoyed it. I don't think he's offering anything new but was just straight up, tough, euphoric trance. Not going to be everyone's cuppa tea on here no doubt and could be argued he's about 6 years late to the sound!! However I think clubland often gets too far up it's own arse where only cutting edge, 'serious' music gets credit. Haslam, and those who see him, just have a fucking good time - surely that's the point of clubbing after all?? Hard trance and hard house crowds in my opinion tend to do this better - most are aware the production quality of their music is generally lower but couldn't give a shit. It's less pretentious and they just fucking have it.

I'll happily see him again and would be interested to see whether he remains on the tougher tip of trance or goes all the way to the more progressive sound.

He did a trance cover cd for M8 back in October and fair enough it might not have been the best, but it wasn't that bad.

No.1 though, not a fucking chance

Yeah but if he produced a good trance tune under an alias some people wouldnt realise it was his....if he uses his own name and produces them and theyre good it gets him more credibility.

The Camena - Sarabande track on that CD is class though.
