KILLTHEDISCO fri 23rd feb BIGGER THAN JESUS KILL THE DISCO FRI 23rd FEBRUARY BIGGER THAN JESUS (Silver Planet // Tic Tac Toe // Itchy Glitchy - Newcastle) For our last party in what has been one of the most awesome months in Kill The Disco's short history we again call on some of our friends from Newcastle to travel down and provide the 'boro with some more forward thinking wicked electronic music. Bigger Than Jesus are Nick Adams and Pete Robinson; two of the most creative producers and DJ's to come from the North East for a long time. In a short space of time they have had releases on Danish minimal techno label Tic Tac Toe (the same label as Trentemoller) and have had 4 tracks signed to the massive Silver Planet Recordings, whose roster includes Timo Mass, James Holden, John Dahlback, Switch & Paul Van Dyk to name a few. Alongside producing and dj’ing, they also find the time to promote Itchy Glitchy, which has recently taken over the Northern Light in Leeds once a month and provides Yorkshire’s ravers with heavyweight DJ’s of the ilk of Switch, Tayo and The Glimmers. A very in-demand pair at the moment, the last couple of months alone has seen them headline gigs in Preston, Durham, Leicester and Leeds. Really looking forward to seeing them play Pacific tonight, expect a real treat.
