i was just gobsmacked with how well he played. granted he's number 1 in the world but still.....wasn't too keen on the drum and bass mind. they had a video projection of him playing on the wall, that was mint!
i didnt see you there! I was in leeds at 8pm when my mate rang and told me to come to this which i had totally forgotten about so i managed to get the 8:45 train and headed straight for world HQ on arrival just after half10!! He was AMAZING! Me and my mate were just looking at each other going 'oh my god'etc,!! yeah the video wall thing was class - i can see how he won the DMC championship with record points he was so brilliant!!! Played some tunes as well..
i was being a trainspotter with a couple of others by the video screen and next to the dj box. wish i could do something like that! what did everyone think of the warm up guy?
i wish i had saw him. he gained the most points in DMC history.. he only lost 1 point from the strictest judge. woulda been awesome to see
I wish I'd gone. Was round a mates house last night when everyone else got back in afterwards and every one of them said he was unbeilevable.
kentaro it was a good night, quite different for a freaky dancing but really enjoyed it. Kentaro was class, some of the stuff he did was . and he didnt use headphones, just a pile of records with tape stuck all over em. We had to build him a mini stage so he could be 2 inches higher! It was also mad the number of trainspotters with cameras there. They were everywhere, you dont get that in techno! Glad everyone enjoyed it, We also have Joey Beltram on thursday in the uni if anyones not aware by now! Also the freaky dancing website is sort of alive now, www.freakydancing.net - not much on there but it has details of forthcoming events.
Just seen this guy on saturday in Nottingham @ The Bomb! He was on with Dave Clarke :evil: Was amazed at some ov the stuff he was doing., never seen nowt like it before! He was on quite early and was mainly playing funky house & he was wearing headfones! Very good to watch tho'!
