got to agree with rave monkey at 2.30 i went to the main entrance to get sum air and asked the "friendly" bouncer if i could get 5 mins outside nee bother he said. when i tried to get back in he asked where i was going so i showed him my ticket to get back in and he said it was closed and said i could have got that ticket any where i told him that hed just let me out but he said hed never seen me b4 i was standing outside in the freezing cold till 3.30 till he eventually let me back in outside every 1 was saying that the bouncers couldnt give a fuck about us even if we were dying one quote from the dick on the door was not my problem if u die its got nowt to do with me what was a mint night all round was spoiled by wankers with there heads stuck up there own arse mark is there any thing that can be done to prevent this happening again rant over
I think people have to appriciate the doormen have a very hard job to do... their job is to be a twat in the nicest possible way, I think in comparisson to most clubs the Promise door staff are very good at what they do and very friendly... However I had a few mates who were told they could come back in on friday, after they went out and tried to comeback they were told to fuck off.. I'm sorry but I think that was bang out of order. (it seemed to be the same doorman everytime).. Its no secret there is going to be the odd person in promise on ecstasy (as there is in every club) - most deaths on ecstasy occur because of dehyrdarion and overheating... Overheating had a huge part to play in those few deaths last year at raindance. Promise are usually very astute about this and give away free tap water... I think this is a very good and admirable move... But at the same time if someone is getting to hot, going outside then getting told to fuck off its out of order in my eyes.. I think its impossible to have people coming in and out of the club all night (I can't think of any club that allows this), but you can't tell someone they can comeback then tell them to fuck off, it ruined a couple of my mates night and by the sound of it, there was more than just my mates.

i used to think that the bouncers were luvley at promise and i always used to tell them how they were so much better that the bouncers at sugarshack but then on friday i thought i was about to die and asked them if they could open the doors and they replied with somethink dead rude and started taking the piss out of me n laughing at me but once there was a dead nice bouncer who got me PVD's autograph at the end of the nite so i like him but im not too sure bout the others!! xxx
stuck between a rock n a hard place, was goin 2 suggest passes for people that go out in future but that aint an option cos u aint allowed to do that. no easy solution without help of whoever you get liscences from. people should have guessed they may not be able to get back in, its not like many clubs let you wander in and out.
