Jury service Is the most annoying duty you will ever have to do! I just spent a week and a half sitting around doing nothing. Then was told I could go home. My name was picked once, to which I couldn't sit as a jurer because it was to last longer than my scheduled time. Absolute bollocks it is!!!!!
Some employers like mine, don't pay you. You have to claim back from the court. Even then, you only get up to £56 a day
