Junior G goes on tour...!23.06.07 in Burnley!!

    Goodgreef Presents… Junior G Tour
@ Club Fusion, Burnley, Sat 23rd June

Goodgreef’s little baby brother Junior G has been a tearaway success since it stared nearly a year ago! Providing the best production skills of Goodgreef with up and coming guests in more intimate surroundings, Junior G has become the best place for up for it clubbers to go in the north east. Its home in the Cosmic Ballroom is small enough for clubbers to feel part of the family and touch their heroes, yet this hasn’t meant anything has been compromised with the guests!
This tour will take on the road the hugely successful format and showcase some of the best talent in the business! It’s about bringing some of the most up and coming and well established producers and djs to different parts of the North, all the time making sure that the Junior G spirit of hard and fast fun is never forgotten! Burnley is the perfect place to party, full of up for it clubbers and hardcore hard dancers, and Club Fusion will provide the surroundings for the intimate Junior G vibe!!!

Headlining the first party is someone who certainly isn’t a stranger to Hard Dance fans and Goodgreef regulars, the man Adam Sheridan! A DJ who’s been down with GG since day one, he’s gone from being the hot-shot resident to one of the leading players on the trance scene in what seems like such a short space of time! Always one to push boundaries, his dj sets now revolve around Ableton, where he can incorporate spontaneous production and remixing into devastating skills to give the crowd exactly what they want, when they want it! He’s one of the most hard working and talented djs on the planet, and he’ll surely rock the Burnley crowd to its very foundations!!!
Alongside Adam is the first lady of Goodgreef, Tylor Leigh. Literally stomping her way onto the scene, Tylor has quickly become one of the most talked about djs in the trance and hard dance scene because of her passion for what she does and amazing talent. She can play the hardest of hard dance monsters side by side with the most blissfully euphoric trance, and she still leaves clubbers drooling for more! She’s destined to become one of the best in the business, and some might say she’s already there, and she sums up exactly what Junior G is all about!!!
The final component in the main room is the Irish whiz kid Greg Downey. Another DJ who simply doesn’t settle for second best, Greg has been stunning the world with his sets where he plays across the board, with funky tech edged groovers sitting side by side with more melodic trance. He whips the crowd up into a storm every time he plays, and will set the foundations for what will surely be an amazing night in Club Fusion!
The Curious Hi Fi DJs also get to flex their trance muscles to get the party started.

Over in the House and Electro room, the Curious Hi Fi DJs are at it again, and with Dale Giles and Ryan John Ridzey in support it’s all set to be a bit special. Expect a full-on ass-shaking session of the finest order with some peak-time bangers thrown in the mix for good measure.

Maitland/Untamed Society, Blackhall & Bookless, Proudy etc. promote this night endlessly, and I daresay they would still pull a crowd in on a 'residents night'.

So it seems a shame to me that Goodgreef have decided to cash in on the reputation that all the Cosmic's residents have built up over the months with a "Junior G Tour", without including them in their plans.

Doesn't mean a thing. It's the principle of the situation I am thinking of here. Regardless of what the other venues are like, the residents who made Junior what it is now, aren't part of the tour and I bet my left tit they would all have no hesitations in playing in Burnley.. or other venues. They aren't diva djs, they just want to play out mate

I know, sorry mate I was off on one

Could I be right in thinking that Goodgreef ACTUALLY think they are responsible for the success the nights had, and that's why none of Junior's residents have been involved?

Do you reckon they even considered having any of the ressies on?

I cant think of one club tour ive been to/seen advertised that hasn't included at least one resident from the original night

I don't think you understand. This night in Burnley isn't intended for people from Newcastle to travel to (unless they really want to), my point was if you want to take a clubnight on a tour and brag about it's success, then you have to involve the people who were paramount to it's success. Which they haven't. The venue is irrelevant, if it was at a far more prestigious venue my point would still stand.

Possibly. If my mates were on.

This isnt about us going down to Burnley tho. This is about the night not supporting its residents that play every month

Yeh you;d think a mixture of ressies from the night itself in Newcastle, plus some local talent from the venue itself would be a far more sensible approach.
