    JJB Gym Byker

    Who goes here? what's it like? I'm thinking of moving

    Also is the car park OK? any bother with cars getting broken into etc?

    I used to go when I was living in Newcastle.

    Thought it was pretty good, think it was around £35 a month when I was there.

    And I never got my car broken into either.

    I think it was more to do with the fact that the gym is in Byker.

    its canny expensive that fx leisure though we get it subsidised and its still steep imo

    I havent been to a gym since the little one was born, I dont even know what is steep :lol:

    We got phonecall off them for 1quid joining fee then 20 odd a month.

    I'd say 20 odd quid a month is pretty reasonable?

    aye we get it subsidised too and does seem steep. still think i'll join that one as its right along from work altho i havent been for a look yet. i expect it'll be canny tho.

    is that of peak or on peak

    we got a the rep in our work round ther corner basically a 100 joining fee then 35 month

    its literally a stones throw from mine would rather go to town and go than hang around the work vicinity lol

    havent a clue, we got leaflets, will check them at work tomorrow. Plus we recomended a sign maker to do signs etc and supplied the material at discount prices so that may be why we getting good deal.

    looks like the same deal as we get. £100 joining fee is REALLY steep nevermind the £35 per month. Even off peak is £27!

    we were definately offered the quid joining fee, I may have been looking at off peak price for monthly payment but was defo only a quid joinging fee. Im sure it had the banner up with that on to when I went to greggs the other day :confused:

    £35 is well cheap, i currently pay nearly £30 MORE

    you can usually blag the joining fee like

    team valley is close to me but the traffic can be absolutely awful
