    Is trance big?

Just wondering whats the biggest type of clubbing music up north east then?

    Trance/house/hip hop? :chill:

beer boy party music is prevelant. But there's a decent smaller scene with all types, techno, trance, Prog, house. Shindig is continually doing well, but it is very well established...

I dont get out much (old age and all that) but i get the feeling that trance (pure trance) is losing popularity in the north.

The boshier and harder sides of the music seem to be the really popular nights these days (GG etc)

    Or maybe i'm completely wrong.

Yeah.. theres a lot of clubs and pubs playin old 70s and 80s stuff.. it sucks IMO.

RnB is also quite big up ere..

As far as dance music is concerned I would say that the majority of ppl are edgin towards the harder side.. I think this is due to the fact that alot of tracks are generally bein produced with a harder feel to them.

I still prefer a mix of trance and hard stuff.. :D :wiggle:

We need more prog, and less trance i reckon.

Trance is great say 1am-4am .... small doses it works perfectly - It might pursuade some of the shindig crowd back to promise if they knew the early portion of the night didnt require hoovers and glowsticks ....... maybe

He's a class DJ and sound as a £ also, all crowds are very critical of DJ's but shindig's one of the worst.

Aye, he played the wrong stuff that night and took a bit of a roasting, he was banging it out at 11 o'clock.

Would be good to see him doing the Promise warm up, I missed him on Friday.

I doubt if he'll play again if that was the case, the Shindig boys like the night to flow well. Warm up DJ's can spoil a night quite easy :)
