Is S.H.O.K.K that bad????

I saw him @ Oxa in Switzerland and I thought he was ace... couldn't get to Promise on Friday and was really gutted but from the sounds of things he wasn't that good.

Would it have something to do with it being commercialised (spelling) at the begining of last year? Air'd on a number of radio stations? And being branded a "charva tune"? Do you think that if none of the above happened you would like it? Or have you never liked it?
