and I still hear people say that it is better now than it was under Sadaam. We have made such a mess.
They are, really. I have an intrinsic trust of the Lancet, it is an incredibly respected journal. If the figures have been published in there, they will have been meticulously reviewed by several statisticians, and quite frankly I'm more inclined to believe this than Dubya's best guesses. They're nice graphics, well done The numbers involved in the UK are too small to show a trend, but the US and civilian casualties show an upward trend that is at odds with any claims that the situation is improving.
