inmates to get £10,000 How wrong is this world when inmates who have been made to go cold turkey while inside have been able to sue the prison/goverment because they claim it was more a case of assault The laws these days are getting worse, Its not meant to be an easy life in the big house but they way things are at the moment there probably better off inside than we are working are tits off, just to give most of it back in tax's to the govermant so they can hand "out of court" setlements to criminals, who should have no rights in the first place. £10,000 each for getting helped to quit smack, theres young kids on the streets hooked on the stuff and there lucky if they get helped at all.
Would you be happy to pay for them aswell? There is quite a lot of help for heroin addicts in the UK as far as I'm aware, a lot more than America. The same people who oppose this would probably be the same ones who says heroin addicts are "robbing all our grannies". Is that figure a general estimate?
FUCK THIS I MAY ASWELL GAN 2 PRISON coz detention centers are a walk through i though prison was hard ans fuck but i may aswell and catch yuo on me daytime tv and just relax
the reason you don't is cos you know thats not true http://www.guardian.co.uk/prisons/story/0,,1946255,00.html
Its in the paper today. The final figure is £800k compensation shared among 200 inmates. I think its great when people get help to kick the habbit but when they get locked up for being criminals and made to go cold turkey obviously because you apparrently cant get drugs in prison, and then have the nerve to say its against there human rights and they want compensation is ridiculous. Do they not realise the people they've robbed, burgled, stabbed killed or whatever have human rights which they didnt care about when they committed the crime. One of them whos getting a share of the £800k is an armed robber who made at least £330k and now he's just gotten a christmas bonus thanks to us friggin tax payers. And another is a convited burgler who says hes going to use his share to start a career as a lock smith Its a bit like giving an arsonist a box of matches and some lighter fluid
I think it's great that he would do that. You have paid for your crime with the time. going straight when you get out is not easy. no one wants to give you a job and so if he knows about locks and he can use it honestly then that's good.
LOL the point is I dont think he'll be going straight, The time he's served wasnt really enough to put him off going back inside, and If he does get caught again and banged up, hell just say he was made to go cold turkey again and get another bumper payout courtesy of the tax payers
you can't know that. People do go straight. if we don't believe that then everybody would have to get a life sentence. And now they have paid this dosh out they won't be making people do cold turkey again. (hopefully)
