Watched this film again the other day for the first time in ages , ah wat a fucking mint film.

i heard a while back that there was ment to be a ssecond one ?? anyone know wat the crack is with this cos id luv to c a morre up to date version of this film.

im gonna get more spaced out than neil armstrong ever did, THE MILKY BARS ARE ON ME!!!! SAFE AS FUCK.

They're making anotha one. Different cast tho.

nice 1, the origninal cast were canny mint, moff is class.

i thought the club scene in '51st state' was actually a decent representation of a uk club... when it had 'warrior' playing in the background. Most film scenes involving clubs you either have the american style club - people dressed in leather and chains with angle grinders and dancers in cages, S&M style OR uk style clubs - dead bright with people doing dancing that in no way relates to the music actually playing.

though i thought the rest of 51st state was a let down, especially cos im a fan of rhys ifans, robert carlyle and samuel l jackson

all american clubs look like gothic, satanic worship venues dont they?

exactly... weird dancing, gimp suits and some wannabe marilyn manson "oooo i'm so controversial" band thrashing away on stage... yeah right. where's the ben sherman shirts? 1 ear ring and a lambert and butler? where's the "alright mate? whats you name, where u from, what u had?"

not that i'm cynical, you understand. 51st state was ok, i quite enjoyed it, if only for ricky tomlinson and his piles.

though youre dead right about the american clubs, they are all like it!
especially bad boys, remember the club scene in that? another perfect example of the bollocksness of yank clubs!

and yeah, 51st state had the odd good bits, just a bit disappointed overall

yup - Bad Boys... also The Crow, Blade 2 (blade 1 is canny good, for vampires.) there's loads!
