    How to make tunes on a Mac

    Someone please tell me how the hell i can start m aking decent tunes, i have no idea where to start, would be nice if someone can give a bit of advice
    (please dont take the p**s, i honestly dunno where to start!!!)

    if your macs powerful buy the latest version of logic, its class :up:

    the manual is pretty easy to understand and the programme well layed out :)

    But not easy to use :lol:

    Took me months to learn it and i did a music production course

    its not half as hard to start out with than the likes of cubase, the layouts far better etc, its worth spending time working it out and tbh you may aswell start out learning to use logic straight away as its the best :D

    Garageband 2 was written by the logic guys and is ACTUALLY an extremely powerful piece of software and can do a shitload of things.

    Worth a shot also.

    i have gb2 as its brand new mac but just feels a bit "dance ejay" style.

    i reckon will i will need to do production course tbh. got a canny house tune on gb2 but needs be better, just the crappy standard loops from gb2 and fatboy slim loop pack!

    May I suggest that with a name like "HARDSTYLEMANIAC" nobody suggest anything that might give this person the ability to produce "music"...

    i suggest you try somthing like reason on pc first tho, or is there a mac version?
