    Renaissance: Sequential

This CD is absolute quality. Just listened to the first CD and most of the second so far - and I'm well impressed.

Mixing and track selection is spot on and, imo, it is without a doubt the best mix CD released this year so far.

Anybody who is into the progressive, tribal sound should check this out

    Disc 1

    1. Arquipelago - Gui Boratto
    2. F**k Them All (Oliviero & MOS For The Ladies Remix) - Petersky
    3. Thought Line - Trafik
    4. Feel It (Tommyboy & Mannel's Renaissance Sequential Remix) - Tommyboy, Mannel
    5. Baboo - Mikael Delta
    6. Florence - Dousk
    7. Je T'aime (Love Dub For Hernan) - Two Sides Of A Story (Acapella) - Rocco Mundo & Onno, Hernan, Martin GarciaFeat. Peter K
    8. '1983' - Paolo Mojo
    9. Dize Moi (Rhythm Code Remix) - Chris Ilopis
    10. With My Friend - Randall Jones, DJs Set You Free
    11. Wonka - Way Out West
    12. Passing Lights - 16 Bit Lolita's Feat. Jennifer Home
    13. For The Time Being (Hernan Cattaneo & John Tonks Exclusive Sequential Remix) - Phonique Feat. Erlend Oye

    Disc 2

    1. Beastman - Bushwacka!
    2. Fashionista - Trisco
    3. Two Full Moons And A Trout (Luke Chable Remix) - Union Jack
    4. Cram It Up Your Cram Hole - Derek Howell
    5. Human (Acapella) - Slam
    6. Destiny - 16 Bit Lolita's
    7. Fatal Attraction (Instrumental Mix) - Marco Bailey
    8. Obsessions (Kered vs. The Naboombu People Remix) - Mehta, Riedel
    9. Lisopian (The Pushers Sublingual Dub) - Dan Welton
    10. Other Dye (Perry O'Neil Remix) - Brisker & Magitman
    11. I Feel Real (Hernan Cattaneo Edit) - Nick Muir
    12. Breather - Eddie F

I'd love to see him back @ Shindig sometime in the near future. Has been one of my favourite dj's for a while now and this CD shows why ;)

I've only saw him out twice and both times his sound was slightly different to the mixes I've downloaded/heard. First time was in the Southern Fried Arena @ Creamfields. He had the place going right off at 7pm  - the best thought had to be in Digital not long back, when he was on top form :king:

Tbf, with the odd exception, most of the Renaissance mix CD's have been spot on. At least they don't delve into the cheesy pop side like Ministry, Cream etc... - Not even with their classics CD

The Dave Seaman: Awakenings one from about 2000 is class too. Although I've put a massive crack halfway across CD2, which is the best out of that pack :(

It's juts my personal opinion above. Each to their own. It's a nice CD though - and yeah I've heard mixed views on it too. That's why I thought I'd check it out. DJ mag raved on about it, but some internet review sites have said it's average.

Give it a shot though mate and see what you think :)
