    Harder DJ's???

i know this topic was discussed a few weeks ago but following the recent success of Eddie Halliwell what would everyone think about promise booking some DJ's with a little bit of a harder edge every month or so?

Im not suggesting that promise should go all out and change its music policy and become a full scale hard house club because that would be crazy but with the lack of good hard house nights in the area a harder DJ every now and again could prove a success.

I don't think out right hh dj's like Ian M, Nick Rafferty, Nick Sentience should be booked but hard trance DJ's like Rob Tissera, Eddie Halliwell, etc. are good news for promise... they take the energy of hard house sets and pout it into trance....

I think they're style of trance really suits promise - as we all saw on friday :D

agree with you smart e...eddie didnt sound one bit out of place in promise even after the funky prog type sound of pete gooding...the whole nite seemed to flow really well! its weird but at the start of the nite xpress2-lazy was on yet at the end we had 4motion-over for me, but it all flowed ded ded well!!

i finx even maybe the tidy boys would go down ok at promise cos they play trancey but bouncey and hard but not out right HH.

i think promise should book more hard trance dj's too, think HH would not suit promise but people like eddie etc are excellent for promise.

there aint a crowd for it....look at the rather poor success rate of sunnyD north east :(

we dont wanna see promise go down that road!

lets just have hard trance :):):):):):):):):) AND LOTS OF IT
