    Hangar 13...NEW VENUE.

Just in case anybody is interested Hanger 13 have found a new venue..it is now gonna be held at the Palace nightclub, Newcastle Road, Sunderland...(1min walk from Stadium of light Metro station).

I think it is a really good move...some of the charva crew will be too young to get in ...but i think it will attract more serious clubbers..being in a purpose built nightclub.

    There are 3 rooms....
1... Spanish Techno and old skool
2.. Hard House and Hard Trance
    3..local up and coming talent.

there first event is next saturday 25th oct.and it will be the last saturday of the month from now on.

problem with places like that is they will always have their following. I have heard tho the majority of the proper screts goto the monkey nd the hanger is more older people. dunno like, spose gotta wait and see how it goes.

...in all honesty mate..i dj in the HH at the hanger and i have done since day 1...now i know that you get a few "undesirables" in for want of a better word....now i very rarely go into the main room when im there for one simple reason..i cant stand the music they play......as for the monkey..the bplace should be burned down.

The reason i think a lot of the 16/17 year old stripey top brigade go to the hanger is because the can get in...the palace have told the organisers they are gonna be very strick on ID and will not let anybody in who looks young...i think this is a good thing and hopefully it may change the crowd a bit....i know a lot of friends of mine who said they woulfd never have went to the Mckewans centre will go to the palace..simply because it is a nice venue.

at the end of the day all im trying to do is help my mate out who runs the hanger by getting the word around.....crucify me if you must!

I had a look @ the site the other week, looks kinda messy. Forgive my quick judgement but it looked like the FBI most wanted in the gallery. I'm sure it's a good night though

the arrogance on this board is unbelievable.. its like 2 gangs of pikeys argueing over who is richer...

I think its a good move for the club, as clarky pointed out it'll filter out the 12 year old cider drinkers...

    not my scene but g'luck

will do mate.....i think what scott has planned, is to give all the people who give him tapes and bug him for sets, a chance to play out somewhere.....giving something back to the people who have suppoted him over the years...top marks to him if you ask me!!

Is this the same Palace that used to have the pre-match "entertainment" on Saturdays? ;) I could be on the wrong track altogether, but has it been closed down for a while?

Went there a few years ago with some friends and from what I can remember, its a pretty big place!
