Just because it was star wars thats all the film is shit but i can switch my brain off when need be!

LOL there are good things about episode 1 and 2. the music/sound effects is excellent. the art direction in episode 1 is wikid. the pod racer sequence in episode 1 is the best action sequence in all of the star wars films. the effects in 1 & 2 are fookin awesome (ILM saved phantom menace).

however i tend to think if you walk away from a film thinking the effects were the best part something is fundamentally wrong..

ive fell asleep each time ive tried to watch episode 1...dont fink im ever destined to see the end....it does look nice though but the acting seems ded wooden!!

yep its back up to the standard of the fisrt 3. And there is a fucking mint scene with yoda that possibly is the best starwars moment ever.

WHAT!!!! Sorry but it is not up to the standard of the first three. Like I said better than Phantom Menace but not much.

The story is all over the place (was like watching George's checklist of things that needed to happen), the dialogue was worse than in any of the Star Wars films (and it's awful in all of them), the acting performances are poor (with the exception of Ewan Mcgregor, the only person who seems not to struggle with Lucas' terrible dialogue), the editing is clumsy, and even the effects work (which was superb in Episode 1 and is excellent in most of Episode 2) seems rushed at times.
