    ... He's playing at a Bar where i live.... Never thought i'd say it but.... "IM OFF TO SEE GRAHAM GOLD PLAY TONIGHT!" :)

    I dunno, 30 minutes away from London on the train and i cant be arsed to go in and sample the best clubbing in the world ;)...... Im getting old and grey!

    He's about 60 years old ... well, mid 40's..... from the "old days" of the clubbing boom... 96-98 stylee :)

    First DJ i ever heard live... Graham Gold then Judge Jules :)

    I think he played on one of those shows thats aired on all the local radio stations like Metro etc :)

    He did a tune last year called LA Today which was basically Members of Mayday - 10 in 1 with the chords slightly changed around, comical.

    I was pleasantly surprised actually last night - Its always good to go to small "local" nights once in a while to realise how much graft and effort people put in to things.... moreso how alot of DJ's end up being able to wipe the floor with the big names.

    Prog, Breaks and then some trance... it was all commercial by that point and the crowd was the usual bunch of musical tourists and sherminators, but the build up was great i thought ... graham gold is a legend :)

    on a kinda side note... does any1 knows if the hacienda cd play before 1/96 is worth anything? its mixed by graham gold!

    i need money so thinking of selling anything i can get money for! lol
