    did u hear on the news bout government plans to charge people £5 to travel in2 london city centre, with plans to expand into all other major UK cities (ie Newcastle!) in the near future- the cheeky cunts! there will b an awful lot of ppl kickin well off (me included) if they do this! im already paying £2 an hour parking and suffering buslanes in the city centre!

    do they realise how much of a rip-off it is to run a car (even a shitty nova!) im paying £1000 insurance just for fire & theft, and road tax, and the highest petrol prices on the globe!

    So if they think im goin to pay £5 just to go HMV they can well and truly FUCK OFF! :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Oh dear, I think I might be about to come out with something sensible.

    Anyone who has spent much time around London knows that cars are a waste of time. You can't get anywhere without using the tube.

    Also the air quality in London is shit, the whole place smells 24/7 of fumes and (sorry for the detail) all your snot actually turns black!

    I think that the idea that has been put forward is a good one, can you imagine how much nicer London would be if there were less cars?

    I really doubt that they will apply these charges to Newcastle for a good few years because as with most cities in the UK the public transport is toss so people don't have a choice.

    But fear not, I have the answer. Anyone heard of Segways???
