maybe I'm getting too cynical in my old age, but IMO that's so blatantly a viral marketing skam for google maps. Stick something silly like 'swim the atlantic' in, post it up on a load of message boards, then sit back and watch as it goes viral across the internet helping to launch the new google maps section. fucking good ploy like
