George Bush in the UK - what do you think?

    George Bush in the UK - what do you think?

    I see that Parts of London have literally been shut down so George bush can go through unscathed from fear of suicide bombers....

    ...... And the UK population have to pay for this - Costing millions of pounds to organise. Thats millions of pounds not being spent on policemen, schools and other UK issues.

    What does everyone think of this?

    As Tony blair said "you have a democratic right to protest".... the part he missed out was "but we're closing down the capital so you'll have to protest on the ringroad just outside of Brighton"

    its nto as good as the first, just goes for a lot of laughs in this book - only real interesting chapter is the last - the rest of the book is just common knowledge.

    I'm expecting they'll virtually close the whole airport down, so you're right we'll be lucky to get within a mile of him, and besides they're hardly likely to let us know exactly when he's landing either!!

    did you know that the US Secret Service asked Blunkett for shoot-to-kill rights and immunity from prosecution in case they accidentally shot a protester by accident, say, mistaking the egg he was throwing for a grenade! Blunkett said no

    Anyone else thinking that the threat of terrorist attack we've been hearing about over the weekend is just blatent laying the ground so they can use the new super-duper anti-terrorism laws with impunity :mad:
