It's a different leage fiddla isnt it, when i went to Dance Valley 06 and PVD slaughtered the main Arena come the closing set i looked around and granted it was cold and muddy i was thinking fucking hell this is summit else. I then went to Trance Energy with a line up i can only, describe as piss poor BUT it was all about the event. Outside the place was like 3 x the size of the NEC and then insides jesus wept it was fucking unreal, stages at opposite ends the lighting was like the ballrooms, the lazers the sound system everything man was just spot on - it helped i got wrecked there too cos DV was a last min thing You can tell they spend weeks and weeks if not months of preperation where as here i dare say its a rush job and you see the difference. I look forward to going to my next event there which was meant to be either Dance Valley or summit else this year but didnt happen cos i know my mates who havent been would love it.
Totally agree m8 , thats the second time ive done dance valley now , didnt fail to impress as usual , loads of selection , lots of money gone into production etc , done trance energy a few year back that was unreal , tiesto's elements of life was sumit special and just done sensation black , now i know the music there wudnt of been your cuppa tea but the whole thing was unreal , best event ive ever been to , from the size of the place to the dj booth and decor , lighting , lazers etc it was just jaw dropping !! Hopeing to get back over in sept for Q-Base then maybe Full on Ferry and Armin Only funds permiting !!
Ive gotta get myself over to the dam for an event like. I won a mixmag competition to go to Amsterdam for BK's under the influence album release party, all expenses paid. Fuckin loved it even though i was in amsterdam for less than 24 hours lol. Gonna try and get a few lads to trance energy next like.
Some reet festivals youv'e attended there Fidz! a dutch festival is definately on the cards for me. Probably not going back to ibiza next year so may make it a priority.
