Forget Gk - Lets Have A "promise" At The Arena!

    What d'ya say?

Should we all gang together and get a Promise event at the Arena???

Would that be GREAT or what??

OK, it may be expensive, but all the Promise regs would buy tickets and that would cover the cost, wouldnt it??

A guy can have a dream, cant he??

It doesn't take 7500 people to break even on an event like that.
I reckon it would take 1500 at £30 a head. Mind you, for a a good night, I'd only use half the arena, capacity 3000.
So 2000 people would look good, 2500 would look packed.

I'm sure we could get 2000+ people !

Well I've been in the clubbing biz for 10 years so I know what I'm talking about promotions wise. As long as you get your figures right and work out the minimum amount of people you can reasonable expect (then half it just to make sure!) you can judge whether it will be a success or not.

My guess is you need about £20-30k for an event like this covering costs on the night, promotion etc etc. 1500 people at £30 covers this easily, if you cant get 1500 out on a Saturday in Newcastle you need shooting!

Getting the £20-30k finance in place in the first instance is the prob - get a friendly bank manager!!!

thats what i call a line up done properly:p
Suppose the sooner we get them flyers given out the more likely this would be to happen, due to the club gettin more widely recognised etc.etc.:)

Actually, would be good if there is somewhere with three rooms, Promise in room 1, another room for Vibe and one with progressive. Now that would be good!

Not at a festival... at 6am in the morning the last thing you want is banging techno.... Think Buuren would end it on a floaty happier note... picotto may be too hard come 6am think a short a blast of picotto's hard techno inbetween two trancey dj's would be wikkid and leave everyone gaggign for more :D

What do I care I'd be in the hard house room if eddie and rob were b2b ;)
