DNCN 25 year-old duncan edward jones (DNCN) is one of the hottest new producers on the block and knocks up some fine futuristic techno, micro-house and electronica. DNCN made his name locally by releasing eps and compilation tracks for the city’s leading internet label, www.hippocamp.net, and since 2002 has been performing his kick ass live set in various venues and festivals the world over alongside the likes of Vector Lovers, Cylob, Alpha_606 and Orbit legend Mark Turner. Incorprating Abelton Live, Decks, CD’s and a Pioneer FX Unit into his sets, it really is a sight and sound to behold. Craig Richards + John Peel (RIP) were both big fans of the DNCN sound, and with releases on such esteemed record labels as Dust Music (home to Surgeon and The Black Dog), Peacefrog and Clever Music (sister label of Modern Love), it isn’t hard to see why. Mary-Anne Hobbs loves his stuff too, and gave him the chance to perform his live act on the headline slot on her Breezeblock show on Radio 1 back in April 2006. Check him out for yourself on Friday! Annie Errez Annie came up to Kill The Disco to headline our Christmas party at the back end of the last year and she enjoyed it so much she couldn’t wait to come back! After a storming set we were as keen to get her back on soon and we all can’t wait for her to dish out some more raw techno and electro. Now part of the Apparatus DJ clan alongside DNCN, Oxia and Jamie Anderson amongst others, we welcome her once again to Kill The Disco.
