i had a really good night, great turn out from the familair faces and had great crack all night!

really enjoyed playing my set, and all of the other sets from the elements/ beat therapy tent were great dispite the problems (hats off to jamie for working hard all day getting extra speakers, extra mixers at short notice)

hutchy was class in the main room, as was O'Bir, Rodi Style and K90 (didnt really see any others properly to be honest stuck to the elements tent)

Massive thanks, props and respect to Melt and Static for their efforts. It was a huge thing to pull off, and in my opinion they did pull it off. I don't see any other promoters taking such a chance.

Some things are out of promoters hands - weather being one of them, third parties such as sound system, arenas, bus companies, but everyone got there safe and sound and everyone got home safe and sound.

I was more than happy to help, taking the roles of dj driver, sound technician and dj!

The sound system in the main tent was excellent, and the usual up-for-it Detox crowd were great.

I thoroughly enjoyed my set (my best Detox set yet imo) and a huge thanks to the crowd for making it such a good set for me.

The camping part was fun, we stayed there till 3.30pm Sunday!!!

See you down the front next time!

i but it would have been better with wellies like.

nice to see the following - james wilson and co, james smith, large emineim, maccas, don, varty, dobes and the northumbrian crew, and so on including those who enjoyed my cigarettes.

i remember going for a piss and thinking in the bog,'im at glasto still',i stepped out looking at the mud,'buzzin,am still there',then looked up and seen something different,

there was 1 kid in such a clip he shuffled thru the crowd looking for his shelf to perch himself back on for safe keeping.

To be fair James if you were in his shoes and your lass was being treat like that would you just walk away from it?

No one is saying that he didnt put on a good event, or that he hadnt put in a lot of effort - no one is slating Melt for that!

The comments surrounding him treating people like the shit on his shoe is what is angering people

Going from what you have written there mate i think you have really missed the point of why Smigs was having a go at Melt. Check one of the other 5,000 threads on the subject before getting involved yourself.

I was just offering my opinion on the whole thing. But I do not think that threatening people is acceptable is it?

Im not agreeing or disagreeing mate as i wasnt there and dont know the full story, though even from not being there i know that his set being cut short wasnt the main reason why he was having a go.

Things like that we can all live without.

I'VE EXPLAINED TIME AND TIME AGAIN IT WAS NEVER ABOUT ME OR MY FUCKING SET TIME!
I spoke to static on the phone I explained why I pulled melt and I hope anybody else would have done the same for their mates and girlfriend or would you think its best to shut up and keep the peice because theres a chance of not playing anymore events.

I asked static to remove that part because its a load of crap and your right it does make me look like some jumped up diva. Like I said thats bullshit, and its nothing to do ith me or my set time!

If anybody has'nt got the fucking back bone to stand up in principle for mates and especially their lass then all I can say is there not worth knowing!

No probs man. I'm just abit fed up of me seeming to be getting all the grief when all I've done is stuck up for what I believe in. Obviously It looks like I should have grit my teeth and took the spinless way out.

So for the sake of it I'll say this!

It was all my fault I should'nt have done what I did my appologies to everyone who had there night ruined by it et etc.

I'm very sorry and it wont happen again! :)
