    Cream In Blackpool Last Nite?

Went to the Cream event in Blackpool last nite, what a wkd venue the empress ballroom is but unfortunately the d.j line up was nothin to write home about......

Tiesto was on at 9-10.30....whats that about and the last 2 djs of the evening were Seb Fontaine and Tall Paul!!!!!!!!

To be fair i payed half my ticket to c Tiesto......why was he put on so early by the Cream People????????scandalous

On the positive side Judge Jules was good....

I went with Jackmaster,Waterboy and Revel and im sure they'll relay same opinion....

    Did anybody else go??

Completely agree Pan, tiesto played early coz he probably off to better club later that night which woz shame 4 us. "That tall DJ" still insists on playing progressive trance:( and Seb finished us off at the end. Jules was good though played some nice stuff
    Ferry Corsten - Punk
Jam X & De Leon - Can u Dig it
    Picotto - pulsar (megamind mix)
    4strings - into the night

Cream at Telewest will be better i reckon Pan, Tiesto 3h set, Scott Bond, Corvin Dalek, Oliver Klein & X-press 2 4h set (to name the best) on june 1st then next day off the judgment sunday to see jules, corsten, Van Buren & Picotto.........what you thing about that Pan?

One annoying thing was that some FOOL outside the venue had decided to sell Whistles to the pikees which was a disaster as some f***er decided to blow one down my ear all night, this guy had no musical talent what soever (i hear you say u need no talent to blow a whistle.... however this guy took whistle blowing to a new low) and for the whole night he insisted on blowing the same footall tune ( dert-dert der-der-dert der-der-dert der-dert)
down my left ear:mad:

lol.....the whistle posse were out in force like.....
Very pissed off about Tiesto, the DJ's were on @ TOTALLY the wrong time....turn the times around, and it would b good.
Jules didnt look his usual chirpy self, he just had his head down and played the set, and the result was a very enjoyable set...
played suburban train (Comsic Get RMX) too....
he played hard, and it worked really well....
tall pall didnt really follow up well...played like he always does, seems like he can decide wether to play house, prog or trance...wasnt very good...his records were scratched too....he gad to stop altogether @ 1 point....

i thought it was a poor show. 90% of the people there were blackpool pikeys (which was to be expected) but the fact that i dont think i saw ANYONE smiling all night didnt help!!

Cream fucked up the lineup completely...having fontana wouldnt have been my choice but having tiesto and jules on so early was a mistake. tall paul seemed to mix v badly, his records jumping virtually every song.

the venue was class but i dont think the people of blackpool are ready for a proper night out which doesnt involve 10 pints and a bit of abba...i think most people left by 1am...

it was a shit night...wish i'd gone to crasher red and black...
