    Country Pubs???HELP!

Hi everyone just had a call from my boyfriend saying he fancies going to a country side pub for lunch....but WHERE????
He's left it up to me to decide but I don't know anywhere because neither of us are from round here!

Can anyone suggest anywhere nice and not too far a drive.

Ridley Arms is about 7.50 for a roast.

    Worth it though :)

Yes if you drive up A1 towards Morpeth, there is a turn off for Stannington on the left. Just come off there, little village, you will see the pub.

    :)
