Council Elections Is anybody interested in standing for the Council elections? To be honest there is very little to do on the Council, other than run the competitions, which Lee is doing admirably. Rob has said he will take over the running of the board again if no-one is interested in standing.
YEAH BECAUSE lee is on a one way ticket "love me" mission course theres going to be comps cos none of the promoters want to pay for banner space other than comps nowt has changed why dont we run a poll to see if people can name who is on the council i bet people can only name 2 of the council
What actually changed with the previous Council? There were some amendments to the rules, but that's about it. I've said all along that we weren't here to change things, just keep them ticking along. I think the only other useful thing that could be done is some promotion of the board. I'd vote to pass it back to Rob, maybe with someone helping him to do the competitions etc as he isn't based in Newcastle. There really isn't enough to do to warrant the drama of the election process.
the whole thing is a joke i only ever put myself up for it cos i thought it was a joke then i got in too deep ha ha the board it dont need a council just good mods just keep running the comps the single biggest thing the council achieved was produce good rucks on the board
i quite like joe i still talk to him from time to time, far too many people on this board allowed themselves to be reeled in by him
