    er Kathmandu a part-cyber shop??

bear in mind that there is a cyberdog in leeds, and the number of cybers in Newcastle/north east could be counted on two hands..

how could u have a cyber and funky shop? it wouldnt work.
"funky" or try hard is catered for @ loads of places, cos its moxtly just normal stuff.
and there are only about 3 cybers in the NE.
and cybers often wear the same things all the time anyway.

What about 'clubby' clothes, ie that aren't necessarily funky or cyber?

If your serious about opening a clothes shop in m'boro I suggest you do a lot more research before even thinking about it...

why not try small with a stall or summit? Some of britains biggest clohing chains/labels started as market stalls.

It wud work!!!im thinkin ov money and popular and exclusive clothing any sort ov clubwear in 1 shop!! if fights broke out between the rivaling cyber n funky crew id just laff, place bets, another way of gettin money,i reckon cybers win, they can blind the funkys!!!hehe! No seriously,id welcome all sorts of styles into it! I know FUNKY is like everywear, but its doin very well, so id get average sales, but if i got mad/cyber/exclusive stuff in that would attract peeps from far, thus makeing up for it!! Anyway lots ov ideas, just need a few ov ur comments on it to help us!!

Camden is good but if you want cyber make ur own :p

    I actually really like khatmandu's new stock - its not cyberdog :D :D :D

    http://www.passionandpurple.co.uk/

^ they do actually sell cyber its not just fetish wear :D

Goth/Fetish shops are usually the best place to buy cyber as its unusual and not common cyberdog :D

Re: Clubbing Clothes Shop To Open Very Near You!

here's mine hun. i agree with wot these are sayin like, but since no1's replied yet

*WOULD U TRAVEL TO M'BRO TO SHOP THERE? - yep - i often do, but its only coz i live in hartlepool and its only 15/20 min drive and soo much better than h'pool.

*WHAT WOULD MAKE IT DIFFERNT FROM OTHERS? - is hard to make something different in boro? everything else is almost the same there anyway.

*WHAT WOULD ATTRACT YOU TO IT? - that it was different.

*WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU, NEW RANGES,CYBER,FUNKY/FASHION,PRICE? - new ranges/new ideas.

*WOULD DJS PLAYING LIVE SETS ATTRACT YOU TO IT (even from newcastle). wuld be good while im in the shop but i wouldnt got & stand in the shop all day just to listen.

Cyberdog do have some really nice stuff (not the fluoro stuff for me though), it just means that everyone else up here will be wearing it - I know some do already but not that many.

cyberdog have a strangle hold on the market thats why everyone wears it.

Katman-chicken is my prefered choice to buying stuff from instead of cyberdog.com. Other than DrHH i cant remember seeing anybody else wearing it, where as go to pretty much any club in the country and there will be a few peeps there wearing cyberdog kit!

People like to be original even if cyber itself isnt! So i think you should go for it, i think people will travel just to be a little more original than the next!
