On the DJ-ing front, im playing the following up-coming gigs -

And as for the label - forthcoming on Climax Recordings in 2004 / 2005 -

    climax011 - Fields - "Rush Hour" - (Original Mix & Fretwell Remix)
Blissfull, dreamy and summery vocal house and its Original Mix form, with Fretwell turning in a sublime house / breaks cross-over remix. Promo-ing this month (September)

climax012 - OkoTek & Delphi pres. - "Tomorrows Own" (Original Mix & Innate Remix) - Bedrock and Choo Choo artist come on board for Climax with this stunning tribal prog number, as deep as they come. Flip for a dirty groover of an interpretation from Baroque's Innate. Promo-ing October.

climax013 - Daniel Gregory - "Oceana" (Original Mix & Forth Remix) - long-awaited release from fast-rising prog star. Deep prog is how it is originally, with an awesome breaks remix form non-other than GU's near-legendary Forth

And in the not-too-distant future, we have tracks and remixes coming from the likes of Jacob Steele, Aurora Borealis (Release Records, Canada), J-Punch (System, CP, Oven Ready), Openair (Ministry of Sound), Stereomovers (Addictive), The Mook (Eukahouse), Phasebase (555, Release), and more from both promising talent and more established names.

    Watch this space.

James, will all of these releases be stocked in HMV in town,
as havent had a listen to your last few releases for a while

We got some of the Climax earlier releases that you gave to brother Andy in the sunday trading days of yesteryear.

Things seem to be going well for you.

I really like the way you plough your own furrow on the local scene

Its what gives you the individuality up here.

Well done mate. But you dont need me / us telling you that.

    :)

it was a rhetorical question: I kinda thought it was you:
as opposed to landing plum remix work on someone elses production (not that I dont think you could do this of course)

Got to be said shameless self promotion like Steve,

Anyway, will check it out in HMV this weekend?

    Keep up the good work.

Once me house sale is out the way I willpop into Aural to check you and Wison meister out!

Check out Wire by Wire (the bedroom mix) available from the Fidla now.

Its not my original track. It's by a DJ from Denmark who did CLiamx 009 and just released a track on Steve Lawlers Harlem label.

Catch up with you later mate.

    TheWire -

Cheers for your comments, massively appreciated. Much respect.

The label has really taken off over the last 18months - tracks on compilations from Steve Lawler (Lights Out 2), Seb Fonataine (Perfecto Presents), Underground Records, Taiwan and Global Underground (Electric Calm 2). All this has helped my DJing career no end. Im in Romania next weekend (yey!).

Cant remember the last Climax release I gave you, but there's been several out since!

HMV Newcastle do get the Climax stuff in, but they only keep the current release, they dont have back catalogue, tho you can order them as they're all bar-coded now.

If buy records over t'internet, check Massive, Plastic Fantastic, Hard To Find, 3Beat and Release, as they all get my stuff. A lot of those places have sold out of certain releases, but check anyway.

Cheers matey, and hopefully catch up soon.
