    From that the board members stuck those details into google and pulled up his myspace, facebook, and bebo accounts...

    You'd be amazed what you can pull up on people if you type their email address into a search engine. Its how I rumbled mr khunt a few months back.

    It's not the IP but the email address thats important.

    Sometimes you can catch people out with the IP address if they've posted something offensive from work ;)
