Sometimes the travel lodges have £26 rooms, normally just the ones in Washington, Wardley and the one behind KFC near the metro centre

Friends of mine came up for the arena this weekend and stayed in the Rowers Hotel in Gateshead. Stayed there once before if memory serves me correctly... Said it was pretty nice and not too pricey, only a couple of quid away in a taxi from Newcastle centre. :)

Nass If i were you i'd look and book something now cos i've just booked a hotel last week for my parents for next weekend and all the cheap ones were fully booked!!

If there's 3 of them sharing a room then sure it will be cheap enough anyway. why don't you look at B&B's aswell:)
