i've got a Philips CDR600 and it's served me well, no problems, really easy to use just like a tape deck really only you can put increments (track markers) in as you go along which is nice

I got it in richer sounds a couple of years back for under £150

Not being able to put track marks in is a big disadvantage. I'd strongly recommend trying to do it via a PC if possible

i bought decent marantz cd recorder from richer sounds for about £80, it done the trick. was quite small too, so if u havent got much space would be ideal.

is it not a full size seprate and silver with a flip down front?? if so i bought one of these but it was from a london store in a open box sale so got it fo 30 quid it had no users manual with it hence the price, but the fucka dosnt work i think so n anyway's tried connecting it by analouge
(phono leads) through the connections for the tape deck on my amp and also tried the optical out put but still no joy and when i try putting in a blank disk it reads on the display no audio disk
there was a guarantee with to say it worked but it was only for 14 day's and when i got home from my trip working away and tested it it was to late to return it to the newcastle store:bang: :bang: wonder if you could photo copy the instructions mate and post them to me al give ya me address via pm would be much appreciated tried asking the blokes at richer sounds in the toon store but all's they said was they could'nt get a users man cos it was in the sale :bang:

use your computer. Its miles better. Plus you can edit mixes if you fukk them up.

For cd recorder you can't use data blank cd's, that you use for a computer you need audio blank disc's, thats why it doesn't work.
