Careers

Since relinquishing my management role at work after returning from maternity leave I've become bored and am thinking of changing careers altogether. I've become very girly since having lucy and would quite fancy doing fashion/design if i were just starting uni now.

What about other people ??.... What would you like to do instead of your current job??

i'd like to be a tree

I don't think you'd be very good at it .... i get the impression you wouldn't stay still long enough to take root !!!

I'd love to join the police force and be a detective

I'm a naturally suspicious person anyway and it must be an exciting job

Shame i was a silly lad when i was younger and have a criminal record (driving offences)

but i'm tall and i can stick my arms out and everything, if i grow my hair to its like a big bush on my head so there would be my leaves.

Please don't say i can't do it

My ideal job would be a wildlife photographer.

really! mine too, national geographic photographer to be precise

I'd die for that job.

In IT, but trained as a civil engineer, wished I'd stayed doing that, I loved it. Was a whizz at structural engineering... could just look at a steel framework and see where all the stresses were

RAF bomber command, so i can kill brown and black people

Id like to run my own bar or flower shop / building surveying place

Weather Photographer, especially clouds and lightning

Or a storm chaser

id love to be an A&R for a record label, indie or dance, either would be cool

I'm hopefully going to be in criminology forensic science when I've sorted myself out!



Thing is, it's a really intense job and you don't realise it till you've heard about it from people who do it. Not just Tv.

We've been studying it this semester, even our handouts are now optional so that people don't get upset or offended my some of the crime scence stuff we do about

I'd quite fancy having my own fishing company in the Greek islands, like something out of the Big Blue.. or a dive instructor which I'll hopefully be sometime soon..

If not that an architect, something I should have done in the first place instead of taking the long way round..

when I've done my two years professional practice I want to ski resort / dive instruct my way round the world.. time to get real and pay off six years of student debt now though
